Kolbusz Space
Gallery, studio and project space.

Website: Custom design with content plan
Kolbusz Space is gallery space located in the former industrial Claisebrook precinct under the direction of Perth artist, Waldemar Kolbusz and regularly holds exhibitions of both up and coming, and established local artists.
Waldemar was keen on a minimalist design aesthetic, which I was very excited about, given that I already had a long list of minimalist sites and design ideas on my Google Keep board.
A key component of the site was to display upcoming exhibition details to keep people informed. After reviewing a couple of events-based plugins, I chose one that suited the site and with some css customisation I was able to make sure it reflected the minimalist aesthetic Waldemar was after.
Some of my favourite aspects of the site is the full page menu overlay and the fixed menu options that stick to the right side of the browser window. I also customised the logo so that as the page scrolled, the logo changed format so that it didn’t overlap the content.
Overall, one of my favourite sites.

Central Leederville Dental
Family dental practice in Leederville.

Website: Custom design with content plan
Central Leederville Dental is a family oriented, local dentist practice who are committed to caring and supporting their patients.
Central Leederville Dental had been using a one page website for years and were ready to upgrade to a full website with a clean and modern design.
They needed a site to showcase their team, expertise and services. It also needed to provide information to potential patients as well as giving existing patients access to downloadable pdfs. The result was to create a patient log in area for exisiting patients.
The overall result is a clean, bright, and friendly site that will carry Central Leederville Dental into the future.

Waldemar Kolbusz
Artist

Website: Custom design with content plan
After the completion of Waldemar’s gallery website, Kolbusz Space, it was time for the artist to upgrade his own website.
The new site used a similar design aesthetic to Kolbusz Space, with lots of white space and minimal design elements to allow the artworks to retain the focus.
Like Kolbusz Space, this site has a section to display upcoming and past exhibitions. It also contains a gallery to showcase Waldemar’s works with a page dedicated to each work.
The striking homepage uses a full width slider gallery rolling through images of the artist at work as well as images of the works inside the gallery.

BEAT CF
Team dedicated to optimising management of Cystic fibrosis.

Website: Custom design with content plan
BEATCF is a network of Australian researchers, clinicians, allied health professionals and community members whose aim it is to improve the medical management of cystic fibrosis lung exacerbations for people living with the condition.
The BEAT CF logo is colourful and so the client wanted to bring that vibrancy through into the visual design.
One of the main features of the site was Participation pages. The key purpose was to provid potential participants with information about what participantion in the study involved and then guide them to the Register for Interest form. The form was built with Gravity Forms and has two sections with conditional fields.
My favourite part of the design was creating the homepage. I collaborated with the client to create some interesting blocks of key information such as the infographic and the number counter which links up to the client’s clinical software program.
And although the footer gave me nightmares with its image based background, I really enjoyed this project and couldn’t have hoped for more lovely clients.

The Inspired Eco Warrior
Monthly subscription business deliverying eco-friendly products.

Website: Custom design with content plan & e-commerce
The Inspired Eco Warrior is a local business that shares ideas on how to lead a more sustainable life, reduce waste and create a more eco friendly home through their blog and by delivering refillable eco household and personal care products on a monthly basis.
The client wanted a clean and modern design that evoked the eco-friendly life-style.
The main features of the site are a blog and the shop for people to sign up to the monthly subscription.
It was important to the client that their customers could add or remove products each month on their subscription. This was apparently not a standard feature of many subscription plugins to the level of detail that was required and so some customisation was required.
Not gonna lie, there was some hair pulling on my part, but the result is an easy to use site where customers can manage their own subscriptions.

Adaptive Health Intelligence
Perth based health & medical research team.

Website: Custom design with content plan
Adaptive Health Intelligence is a health and medical research team based in WA, who specialise in the design and implementation of adaptive clinical research studies.
The client wanted a professional and modern website with personality. As there is a lot of written content in the site, I made use of subtle backgrounds and colourful icons to help break up the text.
As specialists in adaptive clinical trials, it was important to the team to be able to share their knowledge and provide useful resources for others. The Resources Hub was created as a landing page to direct people into the area of knowledge they want to learn more about.
I’m really pleased with how the site turned out, and I particularly love the vibrant colour and design of the footer.
