Regardless of whether you are building a website yourself or hiring a professional to build you one, there are some things you should know before jumping in. Two absolutely key things to be exact.
A client recently said to me, “I just don’t want to have to deal with my website. I mean, once it’s done, it’s done right?”
My answer to that was a big resounding NO.
What is responsive design? The short answer is: responsive design means that your website will look and function just as good on a mobile phone as it will on a huge desktop computer screen.
But this doesn’t mean that your website will look exactly the same on both mediums.
One of my favourite things to do is to scour the web for examples of great website design. I love seeing what the creative and talented designers and developers come up with and how these people find new ways to present usable and accessible content.
A great website is all about Good user experience.
There are so many factors that go toward making a great website and it can really depends on what your version of great entails.
IT’S A SWELL KIND OF LIFE
